Do you perform background checks? 

At Mops Away, we perform background checks on all our employees. 

What should I do to prepare for home cleaning? 

Mops Away, Inc. appreciates it if the customer provides the cleaning team with a clutter-free environment. If that environment does not exist, the team may not be able to fully complete your clean.

What does the cleaning entail? 

Your expectations and the cleaning company's expectations may be totally different. At Mops Away,, we provide you with room by room list of tasks, as well as their frequency at the time of the quote. Also, there will be a checklist left for you at the end of your cleaning outlining what was performed that day so there are no questions about what was supposed to be cleaned. 

Who will be cleaning my home? 

A team of professional house cleaners trained and employed by Mops Away, will clean your home. All employees of Mops Away, are uniformed, and fully insured, Our professional house cleaners will not eat, drink, smoke or operate any appliances while inside your home.

Do I need to provide house cleaning equipment and products? 

We provide all cleaning equipment and products. If you have a special cleaning product that you would like for us to use, please be sure to discuss this with us during your in home consultation, so that they can properly instruct our team. 

What type of products do you use? 

There are some very toxic cleaning products out there that could be hazardous to both your family’s health and the health of the workers. At Mops Away, we use very safe products and do NOT use any harsh chemicals like ammonia. 

How much will it cost to clean my home? 

Every home is as unique as the homeowner. We base your exact price on many factors including pets, clutter, floor types, as well as, the number of people who live there. Call us today at 615-988-0717 to schedule an appointment for your free estimate for an exact price to clean your home.

Will you come on the same day and at the same time for each clean? 

While we can commit to a specific day, there are many factors throughout the day that may affect our actual arrival time. If you desire an estimated time of arrival on the day of your clean, please call us, and we’ll be glad to oblige.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning? 

No. This is a personal preference but most of our customers prefer not to be home when we clean. 

What should I do with my pets during the cleaning? 

If you have pets, we ask that you prevent them from entering the areas that we clean. For sanitary and safety reasons our teams are not permitted to clean flea infested homes or pick up animal excrement.
